Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Coffee Beans | Light-Medium Roast
Made from several small producing family owned coffee farms in the Yirgacheffe Kebele Dumerso region of Ethiopia, this is an exciting addition to our coffee bean selection. This Ethiopian region is the birthplace of coffee and known for complex and delicious flavors finely honed from hundreds of years of coffee craftsmanship. Ethiopian coffee beans have always been a favorite of ours at Black Key Coffee for its unique profiles, delicious flavors, and storied history.
The Dumerso processing station works with all these small Ethiopian coffee bean farms and is owned by Hirut Berhanu. She employs 250 locals during processing season, 90% of them women, which provides them with sometimes difficult to find opportunities for this area.
This batch of Ethiopian coffee beans has smooth and complex flavors bringing the light easy drinking body of a light roast, with the smooth and powerful flavors of a dark. its jasmine and cane sugar notes give it an unforgettable flavor that we cannot wait for our customers to try and we are sure it will be a welcome addition to your morning cup.
